That looks like a Pal Thorobred #55. I have a 8'er and like it a lot. The early Heddon's don't get the love they deserve from the market yet. I would like to see a picture of a Black Beauty. Any body got one?

Does it look like this? I had one and liked the casting action. One of my favorites from Heddon that I have experienced.

I have a rod that is the duplicate of yours and I was casting it yesterday with a WF6 SA Sharkskin and I was quite surprised. I think this thing will out perform their cane rods. I have it listed on my web site for $125.00 but I have had little interest. I think it is worth that but the market might say different. $100.00 anyone.

took my new heddon pal black beauty #85 trout 8' d-hdh with a cortland 5wt f it cast a grasshopper pattern on 9 foot leader 35 to 40 feet with no problem just love it,oh in very good condition with bag and tube what could it be worth ?any others with one like it ? sorry i have not figured out how to send pictures 10 inch bluegills liked it too oh yea it is fiberglass
